A Teenager Drowns In Rawa Badung Lake, Cakung, East Jakarta

JAKARTA - A 17-year-old teenager drowned in Rawa Badung Lake, Jalan Dr Krt Radjiman Widyodiningrat, Jatinegara Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta, Sunday, March 3.

"The process of searching for victims is still being carried out. The identity is not yet known, the age of the victim is estimated to be 17 years old and male," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed.

The search for victims was carried out by five East Jakarta Firefighters. The victim was reported missing drowned by local residents at around 07.42 WIB.

"Until this afternoon the victim has not been found. The search is still being pursued," he said.

While it is not yet known the motive for the 17-year-old teenager to sink in the lake. Officers are still gathering witnesses for data collection.
