BMKG Forecast: Rain In Jakarta Today, Beware Of Lightning

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that most areas of DKI Jakarta will rain with light intensity and accompanied by lightning, on Sunday (3/3).

BMKG, through its official website which was monitored in Jakarta, early Sunday, predicts that since the morning the weather in the Jakarta and Thousand Islands areas will experience light rain.

However, during the day most of Jakarta is flooded with rain accompanied by lightning. Only, the Thousand Islands are expected to be thick cloudy.

Therefore, the BMKG issued an early warning so that the public is aware of the potential for light rain accompanied by lightning in South Jakarta, West Jakarta, and North Jakarta in the afternoon to evening.

Meanwhile, at night only South Jakarta and East Jakarta are expected to have light rain. Meanwhile, other areas are expected to be cloudy.

The air temperature in Jakarta is estimated to be in the minimum range of 24 degrees to 30 degrees Celsius with the humidity level estimated to be in the range of 80-100 percent.

The highest temperatures are in West Jakarta, East Jakarta and South Jakarta with temperatures ranging from 24-30 degrees Celsius and humidity in the range of 80-100 percent.
