Gus Samsudin Becomes A Suspect In The Halal Exchange Of Couples Content Case, Immediately Detained At The East Java Regional Police

SURABAYA - The Sub-Directorate of Cyber Ditreskrimsus of the East Java Police has named Samsudin as a suspect in a case of content that can exchange partners. This is because the man who is familiarly called Gus Samsudin is the person who initiated the content.

"After being investigated by investigators, and having obtained sufficient evidence, Samsudin was today named a suspect by investigators," said Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Dirmanto, Friday, March 1.

Dirmanto emphasized that the suspect Samsudin was immediately detained by investigators detained by the East Java Police Headquarters detention center.

"The person concerned was immediately detained at the East Java Police detention center," he explained.

Meanwhile, Head of Sub-Directorate V Cyber Ditreskrimsus Polda Jatim, AKBP Charles P. Tampubolon, stated that Samsudin acted as a content creator. To investigators, Samsudin admitted to creating content to make it viral and seen by many people on Youtube.

Charles said Samsudin was subject to Article 28 paragraph 2 and paragraph 3 of the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (ITE) with the threat of imprisonment of more than 5 years.

"Unsurnya dia membuat informasi yang meresahkan dan membuat kefaatan di masyarakat. Tersangka dikenakan pasal 28 ayat 2 dan 3 UU ITE," tandasnya.

Previously, Gus Samsudin was known to have made video content about exchanging a married couple. In the video, there is a man who is dressed as a kyai complete with a sadir and a woman.

There, the man said that it was permissible for a married couple to exchange partners. The condition is, if each other has a sense of mutual like.

A few days later, the East Java Regional Police forcibly picked up Samsudin, because he was worried that he could escape. Now, Samsudin has been named a suspect and detained at the East Java Police Headquarters.
