Before Being Arrested By The Corruption Eradication Commission, Nurdin Abdullah Kasih Suggestion To 11 Heads Of South Sulawesi Region: Let's Work For The People

JAKARTA - The Governor of South Sulawesi (Sulsel) Nurdin Abdullah was arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) after inaugurating 11 elected Regents and Mayors in the Simultaneous Pilkada on December 9, 2020.

Apart from Nurdin, the KPK's Hand-Catching Operation (OTT) also transported 6 other people. On his official twitter page @nurdinabdullah, Nurdin Abdullah made a message to the regional officials who were inaugurated before being arrested by the KPK.

"On behalf of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, today I inaugurate 11 regional heads and deputies in South Sulawesi. I believe that brothers and sisters are options in this area who can carry out their duties and responsibilities as well as the mandate of the people as well as possible," tweeted Nurdin. quoted VOI, Saturday, January 27.

The inauguration of 11 pairs of regional heads was held at Baruga Karaeng Pattingalloang, which is located at the Office of the Governor of South Sulawesi. They are the Regional Heads of Gowa, Bulukumba, Selayar Islands, Maros, Pangkajene Islands, Barru, Soppeng, Tana Toraja, North Luwu, East Luwu and Makassar City Regencies.

"I invite regional leaders to jointly build, work for the people, collaborate and work together to give their best, including protecting the health of our people from COVID-19, without forgetting the economic sector for the welfare of the people of South Sulawesi,"
