Regarding The Voting Voice Letter At Waykandis, Bandar Lampung Bawaslu Checks PKS And Democrat Candidates

The legislative candidates (caleg) from PKS and Democrats fulfilled the invitation of the Bandar Lampung Bawaslu. Both were clarified regarding the ballot case that was filed at TPS 19 Waykandis, Bandar Lampung.

The candidate is Sidik Efendi from PKS to advance the Bandar Lampung City DPRD, then Nettylia Syukri from the Democrats ran for the Lampung Provincial DPRD in the 2024 General Election.

"The two of them said they were almost the same, never ordered anyone to vote on the ballot, not even the campaign at TPS 19," said Bandar Lampung Bawaslu member Oddy Marsya JP, in Bandar Lampung, Monday, February 19, as reported by Antara.

He also said that until now Bawaslu will continue to investigate the case of ballots at polling stations 19.

"Until now, the discussion stage is still in Bawaslu and has not been registered, because there are still elements that have not been fulfilled," he said.

He said that he suspected that until now there were those who had submitted ballots for the Lampung Provincial DPRD and the Bandar Lampung City DPRD but did not yet know who the culprit was.

"We will try our best in this case," he said.

He also said that from the results of the statements of the two legislative candidates, one of them admitted that he knew the Head of the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) at TPS 19 Waykandis.

"For PKS candidates, they admit to knowing the chairman of the KPPS, but for Democratic candidates who don't know them, we also asked if they gave money to vote on the ballot, but they said they never, only campaigned and provided goods such as mug," he said.

Sidik Efendi confirmed that he knew the Head of KPPS TPS 19 Waykandis where there were 233 ballots that had been cast.

"I am the incumbent, almost five years of traveling and visiting everywhere in almost 18 urban villages, I visit, if you talk about knowing or not, you know," he said.

He also admitted that there were several questions that Bawaslu asked him, whose points had conducted campaigns around polling stations 19, then continued his campaign method as he did.

"Regarding the problem at TPS 19, I just found out that it was noon, after fulfilling my rights at the TPS. Then, it appeared on WhatsApp related to the existence of a broken ballot, which I never knew who did it was all right," he said.

Meanwhile, Nettylia Syukri, was reluctant to speak more after being questioned by the Bandar Lampung Bawaslu.

"I don't know, with the head of KPPS at TPS 19, there has never been a campaign there either," he said.

It is known that during the vote on Wednesday, February 14 at TPS 19 Waykandis, Tanjunghajar District, as many as 100 ballots in the name of Sidik Efendi from PKS and 133 ballots in the name of Nettylia Syukri have been cast.

Then, when the re-voting was held at TPS 19 on Sunday 18 February, the two candidates both received four votes.
