20 Election Officers In Bali Sick, A Linmas Dies

As many as 20 officers organizing the 2024 General Election fell ill and one officer of the Community Protection Unit (Linmas) in Jembrana Regency, Bali, died.

"Our data as of yesterday afternoon, we received data on around 20 election organizers from the PPK, PPS to KPPS levels as well as linmas officers who had an accident. In fact, there was one person who died in Jembrana Regency, namely the linmas officers during their vulnerable time," said Bali Provincial KPU member I Gede John Darmawan, Monday, February 19.

Meanwhile, a member of Linmas who died in Jembrana Regency, Bali, named Sai'un Anam. He is a TPS order officer in Melaya District, Jembrana Regency, in Banjar Puseh Tuwed Village.

The late Sai'un Anam passed away on February 13, 2024 after the completion of the TPS.

"Members of linmas died after (the voting). So, we are currently conducting a data collection process and also conducting a search to the lower level regarding the health insurance they get in this process," he said.

"Meanwhile, the average report has been guaranteed by BPJS and also Employment. So now friends in human resources in each district and city carry out a mentoring process for that," he said.
