SITUBONDO - A visit to the Baluran National Park in Situbondo, East Java has reopened after a temporary closure for one month to restore the area. Public Relations of the Baluran Situbondo National Park Joko Mulyono revealed that tourist visits to the Baluran National Park in Sumberwaru Village, Banyuputih District have been opened since this weekend. "Today, the number of visitors is quite large, around 700 tourists both local and from outside the region," said Joko Mulyono, quoted from ANTARA. Joko said that the entrance rate to the Baluran National Park remains the same as before, namely Rp. 16,000 per person on weekdays and Rp. 18,500 per person on holidays and weekends.

Previously, the manager of the Baluran Situbondo National Park had temporarily closed tourist visits for one month from January 15 to February 15, 2024, to restore the area after the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year holidays. Temporarily closed tourist visits in the area not only to restore the area, but also to evaluate tourist visits. In addition, during the temporary closure, construction or maintenance of tourist infrastructure is also carried out.
