PDIP Proposes TPN Ganjar-Mahfud Forms Election Fraud Investigation Team

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto will advise the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN) to form an investigation team for the fraud of the 2024 presidential election. The formation was deemed necessary because the practice occurred massively.

"We will propose to the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team to form a special team. Not only consisting of legal teams, groups of legal experts, experts related to demographics, then also forensic investigations to see from all existing processes," Hasto told reporters at the PDIP DPP Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, February 14.

Hasto has not said who should fill the team. However, he believes that those who have an interest in maintaining democracy in the country will definitely join.

Moreover, currently many civil society groups to academics and universities highlight various frauds.

"This means that there is indeed a very fundamental problem related to election legitimacy, both in the process and in the election results themselves," said Hasto.

Hasto ensured that PDIP will continue to monitor the fast counting of the 2024 presidential election votes. This activity will be carried out centrally at the party's head office.

"The calculation process continues and (we, ed) observe various results of the quick count that have been carried out," he concluded.
