Khofifah Cut Tumpeng Claims Prabowo-Gibran Wins The 2024 Presidential Election

SURABAYA - Chairman of the Steering Committee of TKD Prabowo-Gibran, East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, immediately cut the cone to welcome the champion's victory.

Quick Count Indicators from 60.68 percent of polling stations in East Java, Prabowo Gibran won in East Java 65.94 percent, followed by Ganjar Mahfud 17.12 percent, and Anies Muhaimin 16.95 percent.

"Thank you East Java people, with maturity in politics. God willing, this victory can continue to be guarded until it is determined at the central KPU," said Khofifah, at the house of TKD Prabowo-Gibran aspirations, Jalan Diponegoro, Surabaya, Wednesday, February 14.

At the house of Prabowo-Gibran's aspiration, Khofifah welcomed the victory of the Quick Qount version of Pragib which continued to lead in all regions up to 58 percent. Khofifah, who was accompanied by TKN spokesman Emil Elestianto Dardak, was seen praying and cutting the cone.

"This is a cone. I don't know from whom. What is clear is the gratitude, people of East Java. One cone is for the peace of the election and one is for a symbol of gratitude for God's gift in the form of victory," he said.

Khofifah in her statement, will still wait for the results of the determination by the KPU. However, she believes that the movement of votes in all regions throughout Indonesia and East Java is very leading.

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you to the people of East Java. Everything keeps the difference, thank you East Java. We will still guard this victory, because there will still be a recap of PPS, PPK, Regencies, Provinces and Centers," he said.

According to Khofifah, there is a lesson from the 2024 General Election, namely the level of political maturity of the East Java community is built very well. "We are currently here to be grateful, the implementation of the General Election is safe, peaceful, conducive, friendly and harmonious," he said.

"Hopefully our togetherness and admiration will be able to continue development in East Java, and Indonesia with further leadership," he added.
