Megawati's Moment Of Red Challenging When Nyoblos With Family

JAKARTA - The Fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia as well as the General Chair of the PDI-P Megawati Soekarnoputri exercised her voting rights at the 2024 General Election at the 053 Voting Station (TPS), Kebagusan, South Jakarta.

According to VOI monitoring, Megawati Soekarnoputri and her family arrived at the TPS at around 10.55 WIB. She was accompanied by her sons and daughters, M Prananda Prabowo and Puan Maharani.

They sat in the front row waiting for their names to be called by KPPS officers. Not long after, through loudspeakers, Megawati's name was called.

The fifth president came to the front of the KPP officer's desk to take a ballot letter. Then, go to the ballot booth to make his choice.

Several minutes passed, Megawati finished using her voting rights. He had raised his finger, a sign that he had used his rights as a citizen.

Based on the Permanent Voter List (DPT), Megawati received serial number 111.

"Number (sequent) 111, HJ Megawati Taufiq," wrote DPT quoted by VOI, Wednesday, November 14.

Not only Megawati, the DPT also contains the name Puan Maharani. The chairman of the DPR RI got the number 212.

"Number (sequent) 212, Puan Maharani," he wrote.

After exercising the right to vote, Megawati will monitor the results of the quick count with presidential and vice presidential candidates Ganjar-Mahfud.

PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said monitoring of the fast count results is said to be a tradition commonly carried out by the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia.

"It is planned later, Mr. Ganjar, Mr. Mahfud, after voting in their respective regions, then later they will also join to monitor in Kebagusan," said Hasto.

"And then it was only centered at Teuku Umar at the Ganjar-Mahfud winning post," he continued.
