A polling group (KPPS) officer in Magetan Regency, East Java, was reported to have died allegedly due to fatigue after participating in preparations for the 2024 General Election.
KPPS officer named Rita Setyaningsih (41), a resident of Maospati, Magetan, who died on Monday (12/2), a day after attending a KPPS meeting to prepare for the election.

The chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Magetan Fahrudin Regency expressed his deep condolences to the deceased and the Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) that they would pay attention to election officials who fell ill or died while on duty.
