Ganjar-Mahfud Will Gather In Kebagusan With Megawati Monitor Fast Count Results

The General Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) is scheduled to monitor the quick count or quick count of the 2024 presidential election together with the presidential and vice presidential candidate, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD on Wednesday, February 14. This activity will be carried out in the Kebagusan area, South Jakarta. This was conveyed by the Secretary General of PDIP Hasto who said Megawati would start the activity by first voting at the polling station (TPS) around Kebagusan. He will vote in the 2024 presidential election with his family. "He will tomorrow fulfill his responsibility as a citizen to choose it at the Kebagusan TPS," said Hasto as quoted from his written statement. Furthermore, Megawati will only monitor the results of the quick count with Ganjar-Mahfud. Hasto said the activity was a tradition usually carried out by the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia. "It is planned later, Mr. Ganjar, Mr. Mahfud, after voting in their respective regions, then later they will also join to monitor in Kebagusan," said Hasto. "And then it was only centered at Teuku Umar at the Ganjar-Mahfud winning post," he continued.

As previously reported, presidential candidate number three, Ganjar Pranowo will go to Jakarta to meet Megawati Soekarnoputri after voting. He plans to first vote at 08.00 at TPS 11, Lempongsari, Gajahmungkur, Semarang. "The plan is after voting for Jakarta," Ganjar told reporters in Semarang, Central Java, Tuesday, February 13.
