JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya deployed 7,706 joint personnel in the security scheme at polling stations (TPS). They will be deployed throughout the DKI Jakarta area. "7,706 joint personnel consist of 6,506 (members) of the National Police and 1,200 TNI personnel to carry out collection security and vote calculations for the 2024 General Election," said Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto at Silang Monas, Tuesday, February 13. Based on the data, there are 65,495 polling stations spread throughout the DKI Jakarta area. Then, there are polling stations located in several buffer cities such as Tangerang and Depok. "There are 68 thousand scattered areas of DKI Jakarta law. DKI is 5 administrative cities and several cities as buffers for the capital city, Depok, South Tangerang, Tangerang City, Bekasi, Bekasi City," he said. In addition, Karyoto also conveyed about the index of TPS vulnerability. It is said, there are three categories ranging from less vulnerable, vulnerable, and very vulnerable.

The TPS vulnerability index is influenced by geography and social demographics. Based on the data, there are 21 polling stations that are categorized as very vulnerable. "There are 64,333 polling stations, prone to 976 polling stations, and very vulnerable to 21 polling stations," said Karyoto.
