JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin will exercise his voting rights in the 2024 General Election at polling stations (TPS) 33, Cimanggis District, Depok City, West Java, on Wednesday, February 14. "I will post it later in Cimanggis, yes, there, at my place," said Ma'ruf Amin at the Vice President's Palace, Jakarta, Antara, Monday, February 12. On the previous occasion, Ma'ruf mentioned that he would use two possible polling stations on voting day, namely in Cimanggis, according to the domicile or residential address, as well as at the vice president's official residence on Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta. However, Ma'ruf Amin confirmed that he would exercise his voting rights in Cimanggis. The Special Staff for Communication and Information of the Vice President, Masduki Baidlowi, confirmed that Ma'ruf Amin would vote at TPS 33 Cimanggis. During the calm period of the 2024 General Election, on 11-13 February 2024, Ma'ruf Amin invited the entire community and elements of the nation to work together to create a safe and conducive atmosphere. "The vice president hopes that election organizers from the center to the regions, until the officers at the polling stations in the field can work professionally and with full trust on voting day and vote count later," Masduki said in a statement received in Jakarta, Sunday (11/2). Another message conveyed by Ma'ruf is the importance of maintaining a firm stance ahead of the voting day on Wednesday (14/2). In addition, he also asked the public to avoid the spread of fake or provocative news, and continue to respect each other and respect the political choices of fellow citizens of the nation.
