Governor Khofifah Ensures Duet Again With Emil Dardak In The 2024 East Java Gubernatorial Election

East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa leads the rally which has been regularly held every Monday for the last time in the office of the local Provincial Government, Jalan Pahlawan, Surabaya. "Thank you for the collaboration, support and enthusiasm for participation from all people of East Java during the leadership period of the last five years," he told reporters after leading the rally in Surabaya as reported by ANTARA, Monday, February 12.

Together with Deputy Governor Emil Elestianto Dardak, Governor Khofifah took advantage of the moment of the apple to say goodbye as the five-year leadership term ended in the 2019-2024 period in the East Java Provincial Government.

According to him, many achievements have been achieved during his leadership in the last five years.

"The various achievements we have achieved are nothing but synergy with various parties, including the state civil apparatus or ASN and various elements of the people of East Java," said Khofifah.

He also admitted that there are still many homework or homework that is expected to be completed by the Acting Governor of East Java, who is likely to be appointed tomorrow, February 13, 2024, by the minister of interior.

"So our homework will hopefully be continued by the Acting Governor of East Java. Likewise, the reform program has an impact of four items, please continue to be maintained, developed, expanded and deepened again," he said.

The former Minister of Social Affairs revealed that one of the things that is still the PR of the East Java Provincial Government is extreme poverty in various districts/cities whose numbers must be zeroed immediately.

"In addition, increasing investment in order to boost economic growth so that people, especially in the East Java region, are more prosperous," he said.

At the last moment of the apple, Governor Khofifah also asked for his blessing to return to the East Java Regional Head Election at the end of 2024.

"God willing, I will be back in pairs with Mas Emil Elestianto Dardak in the 2024 East Java Regional Head Election," he said.
