Investigate The Collapse Of The Banjarmasin Health Office Fence, The Prosecutor's Office Finds Allegations Of Corruption In Building Materials

The Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into the incident of the collapse of the building fence of the Banjarmasin Health Service (Dinkes) Pharmacy Investigation Office (Dinkes) in South Kalimantan (Kalsel).

"Currently, it has gone up to the general investigation stage," said Head of Intelligence at the Banjarmasin District Attorney's Office, Dimas Purnama Putra when confirmed, Sunday, February 11, was confiscated by Antara.

He explained that the team of investigating prosecutors at the Banjarmasin Kejari was coordinating with experts and examining a number of witnesses.

Dimas said that investigators from the Banjarmasin Kejari would examine witnesses or related parties, such as contractors and commitment-making officials (PPK).

Dimas said that the results of the investigators' assessment showed that there had been an unlawful act related to the collapsed building fence from the 2022 project.

The elements of alleged corruption were detected from a number of irregularities, for example the alleged specifications of goods and volumes that were not appropriate, resulting in damage so quickly only one year after construction.

Dimas revealed that the Banjarmasin Kejari was trying to find two pieces of evidence to determine the suspect, including revealing state losses caused by the damaged building.

It is known that data from the Banjarmasin City Electronic Procurement Service (LPSE), the fence on the Pharmacy Installation Office building was built using the Banjarmasin APBD worth IDR 1.2 billion.
