JAKARTA - Candidate pairs for president and vice president number 3, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md held the last grand campaign in two cities in Central Java, namely Surakarta and Semarang, Saturday.

Later, various levels of society will do a grebeg or lead Ganjar-Mahfud with a cultural carnival from Ngarsopuro to Vastenburg Fort, one of the points including the Surakarta City Hall.

In addition, a large stage has also been established as the main place for the grand campaign Ganjar-Mahfud.

The stage ornament is also decorated with the words 'Bantenge Metu Kandang' (the roof is out of the cage), Salam M3tal Wins Total, to a series of Ganjar-Mahfud programs.

The cultural arts show is planned to be displayed. There is also a mural from a local artist that describes expressions and hopes for the candidate pair number 03.

Supporters of Ganjar-Mahfud continued to arrive at the location of the Akbar Campaign at Vastenburg Fort. They look compact wearing red and white clothes with a picture of Ganjar-Mahfud's face.

For information, the Chairperson of the PDI-P Megawati Soekarnoputri, the General Chairperson of Perindo Hary Tanoesoedibjo, the Acting Chairperson of PPP M. Mardiono and the General Chairperson of Hanura Oesman Sapta Odang (Oso) will be present at the location of this grand campaign event.

Likewise, a number of important figures such as Megawati's son and Chair of the PDI-P DPP M. Prananda Prabowo, Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto, to the Advisory Board of TPN Ganjar-Mahfud Puan Maharani.

There will also be the Head of the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud Arsjad Rasjid, as well as the TPN ranks to the Regional Winning Team (TPD).

According to the schedule, after campaigning in Surakarta this morning, Ganjar-Mahfud will continue his grand campaign to Semarang City, Central Java.

Previously, Friday (9/2), Ganjar Pranowo revealed the reason his party chose two cities in his last campaign in Central Java, for normative reasons many people wanted to attend.

"Actually, I want to have a point like that, whether it's in Surakarta, whether it's in Semarang. But it turns out that everyone is arguing, if you can add more, sir, every extra residential area means six, it's impossible, right. So it was decided in two places because both of them wanted to be implemented and many people wanted to attend, extraordinary even from Jakarta today (yesterday) brought their team there," said Ganjar in Bogor Regency, Friday.

"I didn't imagine his condition because East Java also wanted to attend. So with split into two it might be better," he continued.

Meanwhile, Deputy for the Media Channel for the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud, Karaniya Dharmasaputra explained that Surakarta to Semarang indicated the transition from President Jokowi to Ganjar.

The Indonesian KPU has determined three participants in the 2024 presidential election, namely the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3.

The campaign period for the 2024 presidential election will take place from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
