Police Evacuate Residents Killed By Tigers In West Lampung

The Suoh Sector Police, West Lampung Police, evacuated residents who died as a result of being attacked by tigers.

The victim named Gunarso (47) is a man who is a resident of Sumber Agung Dua hamlet, Pekon (Village) Sumber Agung, Suoh District, West Lampung Regency.

Suoh Police Chief Iptu Edward Panjaitan explained that his party, assisted by local residents, succeeded in evacuating the victim dead.

"We found the victim at around 22.30 WIB in the victim's garden was already dead. After a post-mortem by the puskesmas team, it can be seen that it is estimated that the victim died approximately 7 hours ago, there were several scratches and bites all over his body, it is certain that the victim died as a result of being attacked by a tiger wild animal," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 9.

The incident occurred at 08.30 WIB, Thursday, February 8, when the victim said goodbye to go to his garden but until 17.30 WIB, the victim did not come home.

Then the victim's sister intends to follow her to the garden, at a distance of approximately 200 meters from the garden, it was found that the victim's motorbike type Vega R, shoes and machetes were found by the victim.

"Feeling scared then the victim's sister reported it to the Pekon and Suoh Police officers," he said.

The Suoh Police Team led by the Head of the Iptu Police, Edward Panjaitan, went straight to the lookaround after receiving the report.

"With the help of the residents, the victim was found dead with scratches and bites all over his body. Then the victim was evacuated and taken to the Sri Mulyo Health Center, Suoh District for a post-mortem," he said.
