TKN Claims 500 Thousand People Will Fulfill GBK During The Prabowo Grand Campaign - Gibran

JAKARTA - Secretary of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Nusron Wahid said there were already 500,000 people who would attend the grand campaign for presidential and vice presidential candidates number 02 Prabowo Subainto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The campaign against Prabowo-Gibran will be held at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Jakarta, Saturday, February 10, 2024.

Nusron said it was possible that the number of people who came exceeded that number. The article on the event was a public activity so that it could not prevent people from coming.

"The estimate of people who have arrived who have registered today is more than half a million people. But his name is an activity for the public we cannot prevent us from preventing people who want to come, but we recommend keeping the atmosphere orderly," he said at the Media Center TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Jakarta, Thursday, February 7.

Nusron also appealed to supporters, volunteers and the community who would attend GBK not to bring children in accordance with the rules contained in the Election Law (UU).

"We suggest to all those present that we are orderly in the rules, especially the Election Law. Because this is a campaign activity package, not a concert, not an ordinary party, but this has an element of the campaign according to the Election Law that campaigns should not include children," said Nusron.

Furthermore, Nusron explained that the grand Prabowo-Gibran campaign to be held was titled the 'People's Party for Advanced Indonesia' and will be attended by dozens of Indonesian artists and influencers. As well as well as well-known Indonesian musicians such as Ahmad Dhani to Ari Lasso.

"The people's party activities themselves are planned to be carried out from 14.00 to 18.00 WIB, but the gate or door of Senayan stands has started to open starting at 12.30 WIB, it has started to open when someone has arrived at that time," he said.

Nusron emphasized that this grand campaign is a people's party so they don't use entrance tickets. This means that all people can come.

"This activity or a people's party for advanced Indonesia is carried out to the public, not using tickets to enter. All people can enter, the name is also a people's party for advanced Indonesia," he said.

Nusron said that the Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka will lead artists and influencers for cleaning action after the grand campaign event is over.

"I'm sorry if there are dirt left due to the event. We are committed to building as many volunteers as possible to carry out social actions, the plan will be led directly by Mas Gibran. The cleaning action was with the artists who participated in Raffi Ahmad and other volunteers together to carry out acts of cleanliness," he said.

On that occasion, Nusron apologized to the people who celebrate Chinese New Year. In the event, TKN will also present a lion dance as a form of appreciation for Chinese citizens.

"Of course it will definitely disrupt traffic and downstream homecoming, especially for Jakarta residents and especially Chinese residents who at that time were celebrating the Chinese New Year celebration," he said.

"Without respect, we hold a people's party for advanced Indonesia in order to convey ideas because later the implementation will coincide with the Chinese New Year, so later the ornaments of several events will be set with the Chinese New Year atmosphere in the event," he continued.
