Having No Marriage Fees And Arguing With A Lover, A 25-year-old Man Nekat Gatung Diri

JAKARTA - A 25-year-old man was found dead by suicide on Toba 1 Street, Kelapa Dua District, Tangerang Regency. The man is suspected of having depression due to failing to get married.

Based on information from Alfian (25), a local resident, the victim was desperate to commit suicide before the wedding day because the money for the marriage had not been collected. Two suspect that the victim was desperate to end his life because he did not have the cost of marriage.

"(The victim) was already wrapped in the neck but covered it. What is clear is that the body was already hanging. The victim did not wear clothes but was wearing pants. He was around 25 years old," Alfian told reporters, Sunday, February 4.

Alfian explained that the victim was a contractor who had only been around for 3 months. In his daily life, continued Alfian, the victim was closed, never communicating with residents.

"He made an ID card, to apply for a loan to the bank. Because the old KTP was no longer valid, they made it use ID card making services. Then there was an argument with the girl," he said.

After being involved in an argument with his girlfriend, the victim's lover left the victim. Then after the victim's lover returned, the victim's body was already dead hanging.

"When I saw that, the girl was crying. She had wanted to kill herself and it was only an attempt four times, one of whom wanted to drink baygon," he said.
