TKN Reveals Students In The Regions Ask Prabowo-Gibran Not To Betray If They Win The Presidential Election

JAKARTA - Deputy Secretary of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Edi Budiarso revealed that there are students in the regions who ask candidate pair number 2 not to betray them if they are later elected as president and vice president in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

This was conveyed by Edi when receiving a declaration of support from the Alumni of the Indonesian Christian University (UKI) at the Kertanegara House, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Friday, February 2, evening.

According to Edi, the support from university alumni and students is very important for Prabowo-Gibran's victory. With the support from the academic world, he said, TKN is increasingly optimistic that Paslon 02 will win in one round of elections

"Like in Padang, Bandung, student friends ask Prabowo-Gibran not to betray himself if he is elected," said Edi in his remarks.

"And when the academic world has provided support and the survey results are quite high, we believe Prabowo-Gibran will win the 2024 General Election one round on February 14 next," he continued.

Edi hopes that the support from other UKI alumni will be followed by other university alumni. "We are very proud because today the academic community from UKI volunteers is here. I think there will be many more volunteers from universities throughout Indonesia to express support for Prabowo-Gibran," said Edi.

Meanwhile, alumnus and lecturer at UKI, Sangap Surbakti, assessed that candidate pair number 2 is the only contestant for the 2024 presidential election who is determined to make Indonesia an independent country and does not depend on foreigners.

"Why did my friends and I side with Pak Prabowo, because he who dared in the Asta Cita program said he would release foreign dependence, improve education, free health, and including UMR," Sangap said in Kertanegara, Friday night.

Sangap reminded, UKI is a struggling campus that has always been involved in the process of improving the nation from the Old Order era to the fall of the New Order. Therefore, according to him, currently the struggle of the UKI alumni is to ensure that Prabowo-Gibran wins in the 2024 presidential election.

"If all alumni ensure that right, left, front, and back choose candidate pair 02, then Prabowo-Gibran's victory in the one-round election will be realized," he said.
