PDIP Secretary General Hasto Heats Up Jokowi's Cabinet Hits Social Minister Risma, Political Observer: He's Harmed In Social Assistance Data

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto heated up the ministers of the advanced Indonesian Cabinet, he highlighted Social Minister Tri Rismaharini.

According to Hasto, the data provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs has not been used recently when the distribution of social assistance (bansos) was implemented.

The Secretary General of PDIP also regretted that social assistance, which had a large budget, should not be used just to pursue electoral effects.

Responding to this, political observer Ujang Komarudin assessed that Hasto's reason for heating up the situation in Jokowi's cabinet was because it was considered aggrieved in the social assistance data because it would benefit certain parties.

"Maybe Hasto is in a situation because it is considered a loss in the social assistance data. If we look into this social assistance data, we can benefit certain parties, certain parties, perhaps at this time (social assistance data) that Jokowi uses does not benefit the party and benefits others," said Ujang when contacted by VOI, Friday, February 2.

He also suspected that Hasto or PDIP, including Risma, were a group that had different political views from Jokowi, so that they were not given a role in the distribution of social assistance.

"Maybe commenting because of his cabinet, the minister of social assistance is from the PDIP who said he was not given a role in the context of distributing social assistance to Jokowi," concluded Ujang.

So that said Ujang, Hasto was worried about participating in comments at the Ministry of Social Affairs, where the minister should have commented so that there would be no disagreement.

He also suggested that this matter be discussed with Jokowi through an official letter.

"So it should just be discussed by Mr. Hasto to Mr. Jokowi through an official letter, not a war of nerves in the media, not disclosing statements that can heat up importing the situation, of course this is not good," concluded Ujang.
