TPN Calls Ganjar-Mahfud Has Commitment To Overcoming Loans Like In ITB

JAKARTA - Chairman of TPN Ganjar-Mahfud, Arsjad Rasjid said candidate pair number 3, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD has a commitment to overcome students who are unable to pay for lectures so that they do not need to use "online loans aka loans like the case at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).

This was conveyed by Arsjad in response to the hectic news of the use of Funding services for the payment of Single Lecture Money (UKT) at ITB.

"Mas Ganjar has made a commitment to say that one undergraduate has a poor family," said Arsjad at the Media Center TPN Ganjar-Mahfud, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, January 31, which was confiscated by Antara.

According to him, education should be enjoyed by all Indonesian people. As mandated by the 1945 Constitution of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (UUD NRI 1945).

"This is clearly symbolic that we want to emphasize that education must be enjoyed by all Indonesian people," he said.

In addition, Arsjad said free education also includes 12 years of schooling, vocational, polytechnic and university. This is the key to building superior human resources (HR) for Advanced Indonesia.

"Education is very important and part of the vision and mission and program that was crushed by Mas Ganjar and Prof Mahfud," said Arsjad.

Previously, presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo said the "1 Poor Family 1 Bachelor" program was an extension of access and affirmative policies for poor, disabled or special needs, as well as residents in disadvantaged, frontier and outermost (3T) areas, and borders.

Through this program, they get a decent and quality education to undergraduates so that they can improve welfare.

The former governor of Central Java explained that every election contestation, there is hope from the small community that the elected leader will bring a better life in the future.

Many ways have been done by the government now through various programs and assistance, such as direct cash assistance (BLT), education guarantees through the Smart Indonesia Card. But in reality, there are still many poor people who have not been able to change their fate.

"So when the political mandate is given to me to become a presidential candidate, I am enthusiastic to fight poverty, let's fight together poverty so that our lives are much better," said Ganjar in a written statement on December 26, 2023.

Ganjar explained that the "1 Poor 1 Bachelor Family" program is a development from the experience of 10 years as Governor of Central Java.
