Atikoh Ganjar Says Women Can Be Independent Figures And Economic Drivers

The wife of the presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo, Siti Atikoh, said that women can contribute and move the wheels of the family and state economy. They can also become independent figures if they get the opportunity.

This was conveyed by Atikoh when he visited a shoe factory on Jalan Dokter Soetomo, Jombang today, Monday, January 29. He said he appreciated the factory manager for employing women.

"Of course this is part of empowering women and women to become independent figures and can also contribute from an economic perspective and for the movement of the economy, both family and community of the nation and state," said Atikoh after visiting the factory.

Even so, Atikoh still asked the company to provide training. So, they will have competitiveness.

"Of course it also needs to be provided with capacity building. Both professionally from the management side and from the side they are given broad access related to education and from the economic side," he said.

As for the visit to the factory, hundreds of female employees wearing pink and red polo shirts seemed to welcome Atikoh in the factory yard area. Many asked for a group photo.

Atikoh then saw the production process starting from the process of making shoes from packaging, embedding, braking, to checking. The factory owner and the PDIP Wasekjen Sadarestuwati accompanied him for almost 30 minutes.
