JAYAPURA - The Papua Police ensure the condition of the area is safe. There are no residents who fled because of the KKB.

Head of Public Relations of the Papua Regional Police, Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, said that there are three districts that are of concern, namely Nduga Regency, Puncak Ilaga Regency and Intan Jaya Regency.

"Regarding the issue of displaced residents, we emphasize that in Intan Jaya Regency no residents have fled," he said, Tuesday, February 23.

He explained that in Intan Jaya Regency, after the KKB violence, including shooting with TNI / Polri personnel, there were residents who secured themselves at the church.

However, after the incident, the residents returned to their homes. The Regent of Intan Jaya Regency and the Head of Intan Jaya Police also provided basic foodstuffs to the residents.
