ASN In Mukomuko Regency Government Now Mandatory Fingerprint Attendance

BENGKULU - Mukomuko Regency Government (Pemkab) requires all regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to optimize the use of attendance of state civil servants (ASN) through fingerprints.

Head of Procurement, HR Development, and ASN Education of the Mukomuko Regency Personnel, Development and Human Resources Agency (BKPSDM) Niko Hafri said optimization of the use of electronic presence equipment or machine in the Mukomuko Regency Government began to be implemented in 2024.

"In 2024 it is mandatory because we have written to the OPD in early 2023," he said in Mukomuko, Bengkulu, Tuesday, January 23, which was confiscated by Antara.

Niko welcomes OPDs that do not have a fingerprint attendance machine or are damaged by the procurement equipment. That's because, he continued, BKPSDM does not provide fingerprint attendance machines in 2024.

"For OPDs who already have a fingerprint absence machine, they must take care of it because the OPD is responsible for caring for and buying machines if there is no fingerprint absent engine," he said.

According to him, the OPD should have proposed the purchase of a fingerprint absence machine in 2024.

He said, as many as 30 OPDs within the local government, among them, were only six OPDs that implemented fingerprint attendance machines online or connected to BKPSDM, 11 OPDs using fingerprints offline, so reports of their presence had to be printed manually.

"The rest in 10 OPDs have fingerprint absences but are damaged, and three OPDs do not yet have fingerprint absences," he said.

In addition, he continued, 15 sub-districts in Mukomuko Regency also have a fingerprint absence machine, but it was damaged, so it had to be replaced so that it could be used by ASN in the sub-district.

Niko also said that his party also implemented fingerprint absence machine technology for ASN in 17 health centers spread across 15 sub-districts.
