Mahfud MD On The Debate Of Vice Presidential Candidates: Tired, Gibran Receh's Questions And Part Of Gimics

JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate number three, Mahfud MD admitted that he was tired after arguing with two other vice presidential candidates Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin who is the number one vice presidential candidate and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as vice presidential candidate number two on Sunday night, January 21.

This was conveyed by Mahfud through his blue ticked X account, @mohmahfudmd. He is known to have only been arguing for more than two hours with the theme of sustainable development, natural resources, the environment, energy, food, agrarians, indigenous peoples and villages turned out to be tiring.

"Capek also argued for two and a half hours," Mahfud wrote as quoted on Monday, January 22.

Even so, Mahfud said he was happy with the debate last night. The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) said that a lot of knowledge could be taken even though he had to be patient because there were a number of gimmicks or gimmicks in the event.

He then did not respond to Mahfud's statement when given the opportunity. At that time, Gibran was acting as if looking for answers while placing his hands on his eyebrows.

"I'm looking for answers from Prof Mahfud. I can't find the answer I asked," Gibran quipped in the debate.

Not long after, Mahfud also did the same thing. This moment occurred after he was reluctant to explain further about the greenflation after Gibran reacted to find answers.

I also want to find the answer. I'm sorry too. I'm confused, related to something that doesn't exist," he said while imitating Gibran's style.

"If an academic is easy when asking questions like that, it's a change. Therefore, it is not worth answering in my opinion. I just return it to the moderator. It's not worth answering. There's no answer, I return it. There's no point in answering, "he concluded.
