Campaign In Batam, Anies Prioritizes Improvement Of Food Needs Commercial Management

BATAM - presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan said his party prioritized improving trading procedures in buying and selling basic commodities to provide affordable prices for the community.

This was conveyed by Anies after conducting a review of the Tos 3,000 Main Market in Batam City, Riau Islands, Friday, January 19.

According to him, by making improvements to the trading system, it can provide trade procedures that are free from mafia practices.

"So improving trading will be our first priority, so that farmers, farmers, fishermen are more prosperous, but also residents can get cheaper prices," said Anies as quoted by ANTARA.

In addition, he also conveyed that related to the social assistance program (bansos) there would be a change to social assistance plus, with more assistance and recipients according to the rights to receive the assistance.

"Then there will be assistance so that social assistance plus this will have greater benefits and will provide it to start entrepreneurial activities so that they can advance to class economically," he said.

Anies' arrival in Batam City was greeted enthusiastically by sympathizers and supporters.

Anies arrived at the Tos 3,000 Main Market, Batam City at around 10.00 WIB, and greeted market traders and bought a number of fresh fish at the market.
