Mataram Police Have No Manual Tickets Until The 2024 Election After

MATARAM - Mataram Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), again omitted evidence of violations (tickets) manually for motorists who violated traffic rules, until the election was completed in February 2024. "According to the instructions of the Traffic Police Headquarters Headquarters, manual tickets will be temporarily suspended until the election is over," said Head of Satlantas Polresta Mataram Kompol Bowo Tri Handoko in Mataram, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, January 16. Even though it was abolished, he said, security and supervision in the field would continue, and if there were violations, his party would give a warning. "Especially for Brong exhaust users, there is no tolerance, we will take firm action because it disturbs the comfort of the community," he said. To motorists with Brong exhausts, he said, his party still imposes strict sanctions in the form of a ticket because it is in accordance with the mandate of the National Police Headquarters. "We ticketed, confiscated the exhaust, and destroyed it," he said.

In fact, he said, his party did not rule out the possibility of being able to apply minor crimes (tipiring) against motorists with Brong exhausts. "Because it disturbs public peace and order, later we will apply the tipiring," he said.
