Claims To Fulfill Political Contracts, Anies: Don't Law Me On The Actions Of Others

Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan claims to be a candidate for leader who will fulfill his political promise. This, said Anies, has been done while serving as Governor of DKI Jakarta for the 2017-2022 period.

Therefore, Anies admitted that he was very careful in expressing promises and making political contracts when campaigning for election contestation.

"In Jakarta, we are careful in making promises, because we want every promise to be paid," said Anies in Anies' insistence which was held at Beby Indah Beach, Ambon City, Maluku, Monday, January 15.

While campaigning to become a candidate for Governor of DKI in the 2017 Pilkada, Anies admitted that he was often asked about his political commitment to the people of Jakarta.

"Sir, I want you to promise first, sir, that you are right in Jakarta for five years. Because in the past, we made a political contract, the contract has not been completed, which has been contracted, has moved to another place," Anies explained, imitating DKI residents' statements to him.

To the people of Jakarta at that time, Anies asked not to equate himself with the previous leaders who had also had a political contract with them.

"I said, 'don't punish me for other people's actions'. Is it true or not? No. But, my value from the contracts I worked on before was carried out or not," he said.
