KRI Dr. Radjiman Is Full Of Help, Just Wait For Egypt To Enter Gaza

JAKARTA - The Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (KASAL) Admiral Muhammad Ali revealed that the KRI KRI KNI AL Hospital Assistance Ship (KBRS) dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992 for Gazans is just waiting for confirmation from the Egyptian government to distribute aid.

"KRI Radjiman has been prepared. We no longer receive assistance in the form of contact materials or logistics for Palestine because it is full," said Ali after attending the Dharma Samudera Day flower sowing ceremony in Jakarta, Monday, January 15, which was confiscated by Antara.

Ali said this in response to the humanitarian post around the Jakarta Military Cross-Seaval Command Headquarters (Kolinlamil) Pier (AL) was no longer visible.

Ali explained that the capacity of KRI Radjiman had been fully occupied by assistance for Gazans. The full capacity caused his party to temporarily close the receipt of assistance.

He said that at this time what is prioritized is sending the humanitarian aid as soon as possible after obtaining permission from the Egyptian government as a country directly adjacent to Gaza.

Ali said the Indonesian Navy, assisted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense, continued to communicate intensely with the Egyptian side so that the permit would be issued in the near future.

"We are communicating with Egypt as well. We are also assisted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense to send contact materials by KRI Rajiman to Egypt. In the near future, hopefully they can be sent," said Ali.

KRI dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992 since November 30, 2023, docked at the Kolinlamil Headquarters Pier of the Indonesian Navy, Jakarta.

As of Tuesday, December 12, 2023, it is known that the ship is not only ready to carry out humanitarian missions in waters near Gaza, but is transporting a number of logistical assistance.

The assistance consisted of 80 trucks, including pampers (532 sacks), children's clothing (600 sacks), adult clothing (700 sacks and 500 boxes), milk (800 boxes), biscuits (650 boxes), gallon mineral water (1,254 gallons), cardboard mineral water (1,700 boxes), medicine (460 boxes), blankets (450 sacks), jackets (450 sacks), and instant noodles (470 boxes).

The number if grouped according to the container is 4,080 boxes, 2,732 sacks, 500 boxes, and 1,254 gallons.

If the Egyptian government allows Indonesia to send KRI dr. Radjiman as a hospital ship helped to safe waters near Gaza, the voyage became the first mission of KRI dr. Radjiman crossed the ocean and left Indonesian waters.
