JAKARTA - A white Toyota Alphard luxury car hit a bicycle lane divider on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, to be precise at the Sudirman Center Business District (SCBD), Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The cause of the accident is suspected to be because the driver was sleepy.

The building security, Heru said the incident occurred on Thursday, January 11, at 04.10 WIB. The Alphard driver was seen driving from Semanggi at high speed.

However, when he arrived at the crime scene (TKP), it was suspected that the driver of the luxury car was sleepy and hit the road divider.

"The initial chronology is from Semanggi at high speed. Maybe he wants to turn. He hit the road divider. He said he was sleepy," Heru said when met at the scene, Thursday, January 11.

Seeing this, Heru, who was around the incident, immediately approached the car to see the condition of the luxury car driver. It turned out that when he saw the driver, he was still safe.

"The driver is a man, one person. He survived (and) is still conscious," he said.

For this incident, the victim was taken to the nearest hospital for media handling. Meanwhile, the luxury car has been evacuated, in order to avoid congestion at that location.
