Presidential candidate (candidate) number 3, Ganjar Pranowo said the onion holding market in Brebes is still needed. Especially to sell onions in the main harvest season.

This was conveyed by Ganjar after meeting with shallot farmers and farmer groups in Kertabesuki Village, Brebes Regency, Central Java (Central Java), today is Wednesday, January 10.

"There is a lot of supply, the price has dropped. So I said how to sell it," said Ganjar, quoted by Antara.

According to him, the abundant supply of shallots during the harvest season will have an impact on farmers' income. This is because the selling price of shallots will be low.

Therefore, he suggested that the shallot wholesale market be re-functed in order to maintain the stability of the commodity price.

"That's why I was, 'Sir, the shape of the main market', I think the main market must be turned on and the role of the government is again awaited to revive it. I think the real local government is enough," he said.
