Polda Metro Jaya said the stolen motorcycle syndicate rented the land for the Gudbalkir Pusziad warehouse belonging to the Indonesian Army in Sidoarjo to hide the proceeds of its crimes. The rental price that must be paid reaches tens of millions per month.

"That the suspect rented land, to store evidence for either two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles in an empty warehouse in Guduran, East Java," said Director of General Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Wira Satya Triputra to reporters, Wednesday, January 10.

The rental of the Gudbalkir Pusziad warehouse by suspects M and EI could be carried out due to the role of three TNI soldiers. They are Major BP, Kopda AS, and Praka J.

The price set for land rental reaches Rp. 30 million per month. In fact, there is an additional fee when loading and unloading stolen vehicles is around Rp. 2 million.

"Paying each container parking of Rp. 2 million with an estimated monthly fee of Rp. 20 million to Rp. 30 million," he said

However, it was not specified how long the lease process for the building's land had occurred. It was only conveyed that the suspects M and EI had been running the stolen motorcycle buying and selling business from 2022 to 2024.

"From these results, the suspects are estimated to earn around Rp. 400 million every month.
