Alluding To The TNI's Violence Against Volunteers Because Of Brong's Exhaust, Megawati: How Come It's Good For The People

JAKARTA - The general chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri couldn't stop thinking when a volunteer was beaten by a TNI soldier because of a Brong exhaust. Mega even questioned the incident in Boyolali, Central Java.

"When the Boyolali case, I thought, what exactly is in their hearts and minds? How come the people feel like that," Megawati said in her political speech during the 51st PDIP Anniversary at the PDIP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Wednesday, January 10.

Megawati assessed that such violence should not have happened. Because young people usually want to look good, one of which is by using Brong exhaust.

"It's a exhaust removed, it's actually going to show the name of a young man. I want to be a champion. Well, really, aih... I said how good is it," said the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Oh, I saw the one who was beaten. How come his mouth was so swollen," continued Megawati.

He also questioned why the TNI soldiers had the heart to do this. Moreover, the TNI and Polri earn income from the people.

"Where does the state pay from, yes, it's the people, who collect, obey tax payments and so on. What circulation is this? I'm not sentiment, no. This is so you know that you are servants of the state. The state is not an individual. That's it, ma'mbok is aware that what must be protected is sopo tho, the people," said Megawati.

As previously reported, seven volunteers from Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in Boyolali, Central Java were beaten by TNI soldiers. The persecution was recorded and went viral on social media.

The beginning of the incident, it was suspected that the volunteers followed the convoy of Ganjar's entourage with a motorbike convoy with a Brong exhaust. As a result of this incident, two people had to be treated intensively.

Meanwhile, 6 members of Company B Yonif Raider 408/Suhbrastha Boyolali Central Java were named suspects. They each have the initials Prada Y, Prada P, Prada A, Prada J, Prada F, and Prada M.
