Chronology Of Gerindra DPR Candidates Died In Accident In Gresik

GRESIK - A candidate for legislative member of the DPR from the Gerindra Party named Sakinatul Muti breathed his last after being involved in an accident on Jalan Raya Sukomulyo, Manyar District, Gresik Regency, Monday, January 8.

The victim died at the scene after the motorbike he was driving with his son fell and was run over by a truck.

The chronology of the incident began when Sakinatul Mutif (43), a resident of Ngimbo Village, Ujungpangkah District, Gresik Regency was about to take his son named Adya Pramesti Regita (18), took care of SIM C at the Gresik Police Traffic Unit.

On the way, the victim was riding a Honda Scoopy Nopol W 5205 ET. At the time of the incident, Adya was riding a motorbike, while Sakinatul was riding behind.

Head of Laka Satlantas Gresik Police, Iptu Tita Puspita Agustina, said that at that time Adya tried to overtake the tronton Isuzu truck Nopol W 9286 UM in front of PT Jebeko Jalan Raya Manyar driven by Davis Floriza (44), a resident of Merak Tuban. However, it is suspected that the victim's motorbike was lacking concentration, hit the right body of the truck.

The victim intends to overtake the right side of the tronton truck that is walking in the same direction (west to east) in front of him. When he took the lead, he was too close to hitting the right side of the truck, "said Tita, Tuesday, January 9.

As a result of the collision, the victim's motorbike swayed until finally the mother and child fell. Tragically, the mother fell to the left side and was run over by the rear wheel of the truck. While the child fell to the right and only suffered minor injuries.

"The victim suffered injuries to the head and left hand," explained Tita.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Gerindra Gresik Party DPC, Dr. Asluchul Alif, confirmed that the victim was one of the legislative candidates of the DPR, his party expressed deep sorrow for the loss of the victim.

"Yes, that's right, he is the daily administrator of Gerindra Gresik as well as a candidate for the Gerindra Party DPR," he explained.

After the incident, the victim's body was immediately evacuated to the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Ibnu Sina Gresik for a post-mortem. Meanwhile, the two vehicles involved in the accident were secured to the Gresik Police Traffic Unit.
