Tangerang City Government Increases Plaza Shinta's Attractiveness Which Is The Relocation Of Anyar Market Traders

TANGERANG - The Tangerang City Government (Pemkot) plans to hold a number of major activities at Plaza Shinta as an effort to relocate Anyar Market traders, with the aim of increasing the attractiveness of buyers.

Assistant for the Economy and Development of Tangerang City, Yeti Rohaeti, stated that the Tangerang City Government will carry out a draw for buyers, open MSME outlets, and hold various major activities at Plaza Shinta.

In addition, the Tangerang City Government has also prepared other policies, including improving facilities, regulating public transportation routes, and organizing centralized activities. With these steps, the Tangerang City Government hopes to maintain a commercial ecosystem and be successful in the temporary relocation process of New Market traders to Plaza Shinta and Metropolis Town Square Mall in the near future.

Yeti added that Plaza Shinta was chosen as one of the relocation locations for Anyar Market traders because it was considered strategic and had a fairly large land. In addition, easy access to the large number of public transportation passing by at Plaza Shinta.

Not only that, Yeti revealed that he had created layouts for relocations for traders, such as zone 1 and zone 2 on the 1st floor which were designated as food sellers, vegetables, and fruits.

While the zone 3 on the 2nd floor is designated as a clothing seller and accessories. Then zone 4 on the 3rd floor for food and beverage sellers. Then zone 5 which is outside the building or parking lot for meat sellers.

"We continue to maximize so that traders do not fight alone to find a place to sell during the revitalization of Anyar Market. Of course, we continue to strive to provide the best facilities for traders and the convenience of buyers," he said, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, January 6.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Anyar Market Traders Association H. Zen expressed his support for the Anyar Market Revitalization Program. They welcomed the government's plan to improve market quality and merchant competitiveness.

"We support and believe that the revitalization of Anyar Market will be a more comfortable and fun market for buyers to shop for. And of course, it can compete with modern markets," he said.
