Central Java TKN-TKD Launch Food Truck Gemoy In Semarang

SEMARANG - The National Campaign Team (TKN) and the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka Region of Central Java launched the "Food Truck Gemoy" in Semarang for free lunch and milk programs.

The launch of the "Food Trcuk Gemoy" took place at the Prabowo-Gibran Central Java TKD Secretariat Office, Semarang, Friday, January 5.

Deputy Chairperson of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Condro Kirono explained that "Food Truck Gemoy" started from Semarang, and will later spread in a number of areas in Central Java to all of Indonesia.

"What is specifically for the campaign is that there are two fleets in Semarang. Later we will roll them out to the regions. We have a team engaged in the culinary sector that also has a food truck that will help to 1,000 locations throughout Indonesia," he said as quoted by ANTARA.

The targets, he said, were orphanages and millennials, which were potential voters of up to 53 percent.

"This millennial voter wants creativity, drinks milk, eats, plays, works there with free WiFi. Later around this will be free WiFi," he said.

The truck mechanism, he said, departed from the post and then headed to a number of orphanages and campuses, while at the Central Java TKD Command Post it was also provided to accommodate millennial volunteers.

"Later (food truck) to campuses. Menu varies, which is clearly 4 healthy 5 perfect. Today once out 100 servings. (In Semarang) this is the trigger, later others will follow. We want to go to Solo, Purwokerto, Banyumas," added the former Central Java Police Chief.

Meanwhile, Chairman of TKD Prabowo-Gibran Central Java Kukrit SW said that "Food Truck Gemoy" was launched as a step to "pick up the ball" in the distribution of free meals.

"This is one of our efforts at the Central Java TKD to be able to 'pick up the ball'. So that the free lunch and free milk program can really be distributed, especially for the younger generation in Semarang and Central Java in particular. Even later to Indonesia," he said.

Kukrit hopes that the program initiated by Prabowo-Gibran can really benefit the younger generation.

"We want to create the best young generation, to be able to reach Indonesia Gold later," he said.
