Bad! Anies Baswedan Ferdinand Hutahaean Quipped About Jakarta Flood: Should Give Transportation Award

JAKARTA - The former politician from the Democratic Party, Ferdinand Hutahaean, once again made an insinuation against the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan over the floods that occurred at several points in Jakarta.

This time Ferdinand asked the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI) to give an award to Anies for successfully developing water transportation on land.

TUMI recently named Anies as one of the transportation heroes in 21Heroes2021. Unmitigated, the former Minister of Education and Culture in the era of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was side by side with Tesla boss Elon Musk, Minister of Government of the Belgian Capital of Brussels, Elke Van den Brandt to Ethiopian Transport Minister Dagmawit Moges.

The TUMI Initiative is an organization of global adoption initiatives on sustainable mobility.

"If it has been highlighted by foreign media, just wait to give a try at CC@TUMinitiative who knows if you want to give another award as an innovation inland water transportation", tweeted Ferdinand on his Twitter account, @FerdinandHaean3 quoted on Sunday, February 21.

In the previous thread, Ferdinand also spoke out loud about the floods in Jakarta. Anies is considered not to have carried out a program that has a direct impact on flood management. Unfortunately, on social media pages, Anies often claims success in overcoming floods.

"Lack of program about flood prevention, but you dare to claim success in handling floods. This is the lie and trickery of the governor", explained Ferdinand.

TUMI previously named Anies along with 20 other people, including several big names such as the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla Production Architect, Elon Musk to the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo. Their name was chosen because of the successful transformation of urban mobility which has an impact on improving the quality of life for all citizens.

Responding to this, Anies viewed the transportation 'hero' label as the result of joint work with all levels of the DKI Provincial Government, as well as collaboration with various parties.

"This achievement is the result of collaboration with various parties, from the beginning we opened the widest possible opportunity for the public to be involved in transportation system development planning," Anies said in his statement, Friday, February 5.
