BLITAR - Police arrested the killer of two women in a dog shelter in Karangtengah Village, Sananwetan District, Blitar City, East Java (East Java).

Blitar City Police Chief AKBP Danang Setiyo said the perpetrator AF (21) killed as a result of being hurt to the victim about salary. The victim when spreading advertisements promised to be given a salary of Rp. 3,100,000 per month, but the realization was not.

"This perpetrator worked for about a week. From the start, when he saw the advertisement for the job offer, the salary was submitted every month of Rp. 3,100,000. When he was already working, he was offered a contract containing three months of work and each month he was given Rp. 1 million plus a bonus of Rp. 250 thousand which could be taken after the contract was completed," he said during a release at the Blitar City Police Headquarters, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, Antara.

He added that the perpetrators of the Badal Pandean Village, Ngadiluwih District, Kediri Regency, were even more hurt by the victim because when asking permission for Friday prayers, they were not allowed. Even the gate is locked.

Finding this, the perpetrator then intended to injure the victim. The day before the incident, December 29, 2023, the perpetrator prepared a machete.

On December 30, 2023, the perpetrator carried out the action. At the time of the incident there was resistance, but both of them finally died with serious injuries.

Until then, January 1, 2024, the witness who was a neighbor smelled an unpleasant odor and reported this to the police.

"The modus operandi of the perpetrator was to abuse him because he was hurt, so he decided to beat him with a machete," he said.

The police chief added that members went to the location to process the crime scene (TKP). While at the location, the gate was locked from the inside, the house lights went out.

Two victims were found dead, namely Ragil Sukarno Utomo alias Sinyo (50) who is the owner of a dog shelter. He is known to have seven head injuries, while Luciani Santoso (53), another victim, suffered 20 head injuries.

The victim was found lying in front of the terrace on his stomach and head west.

While another victim was found in the kitchen room on his stomach. The head looks east. Both have started to rot.

In addition to arresting the perpetrators, the police also confiscated a number of evidences such as machetes, cell phones and a number of other evidences.

Currently, AF has been detained at the Blitar City Police Headquarters. He was charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary 338 of the Criminal Code, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
