Prabowo Receives Support From The Ganggong Probolinggo Islamic Boarding School

Presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto received support as a presidential candidate in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) from the administrators and students of the Zainul Hasan Ganggong Islamic Boarding School, Probolinggo, East Java.

The leader of the Zainul Hasan Ganggong Islamic Boarding School, KH Moh. Hasan Mutawakkil 'Alallah, who represents the administrators and students, believes Prabowo is the right person to lead Indonesia in the future.

He continued the national defense intersecting with religious values, because any religion including Islam requires stability. Therefore, Hasan believes that Prabowo has succeeded in carrying out his duties as defense minister during the second term of President Joko Widodo's administration and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.

"Mr. Prabowo's position as Defense Minister was a trial and it turned out that he was a success," Hasan Mutawakkil, the kiai who has led the Tanggong Islamic Boarding School since 1991, told Prabowo.

The leader of the Ganggong Islamic Boarding School also said that they support Prabowo because he believes that the presidential candidate number 2 has sincere intentions for Indonesia.

"We are sure to accept Prabowo because his life has been donated to Indonesia," said KH Hasan Mutawakkil 'Alallah.

Finally, closing his remarks, the leader of the Tanggong Islamic Boarding School also gave a rhyme to Prabowo.

"From Situbondo going to Bekasi, go to Batu stop by Kediri. Why is Mr. Prabowo the choice of the students, because his heart is integrated with the kiai," said Mutawakkil, who was followed by boisterous applause from the students.

Prabowo, after receiving support and hearing the aspirations, expressed his gratitude to the Tanggong Islamic Boarding School.

He said the aspirations of hope and aspirations became a guideline for his political attitudes and steps in the future.

The Zainul Hasan Ganggong Islamic Boarding School in Probolinggo is one of the oldest Islamic boarding schools in East Java that has been established since 1839. The Tanggong Islamic Boarding School Complex stands on an area of more than 90 hectares in the area of four villages, namely Karangbong Village, Ketompen Village, Pajarakan Kulon Village, and Temenggungan Village.

The number of students from the Tanggong Islamic Boarding School is more than 20,000 people, not only from Indonesia, but also from neighboring countries such as Malaysia and Singapore.
