Chronology Of Bus Accidents On The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road That Caused 6 Deaths

JAKARTA - The traffic accident that occurred on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, Sunday, December 31 night, left six people dead and a number of others injured.

"The accident involving the Bhinneka PO bus number E-7706-AA occurred at KM 41 of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road," said Head of the Karawang Police Traffic Unit, Adjunct Commissioner of Police Lucky Martono, quoted from ANTARA, Monday, January 1.

He said that the accident occurred on the evening of Sunday, December 31 when the bus driven by Dea Aprlian drove towards Jakarta to Cikampek.

Arriving at KM 41,400 A, the bus swerved to the left and hit the road divider fence. Then the bus capsized with the condition of the front facing towards Jakarta.

As a result of the accident, Lucky said, two people died at the scene and four people died on the way to the hospital and were being treated by medical officers at Rosela Hospital Karawang.

The bus driver suffered serious injuries in the incident, so the police have not asked for information and the cause of the accident has not been concluded.

"The driver was injured and not yet conscious, so we can't ask for information yet. We haven't been able to conclude the exact cause of the accident," said Lucky.

He said that the PO Bhinneka bus involved in the single accident was 38 people.
