Seven Tourism Destinations In Jakarta Potentially Raining, What Are They?

JAKARTA - Weather forecaster of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that rain will fall on seven tourism destinations in DKI Jakarta this Saturday.

BMKG has submitted a weather forecast for DKI Jakarta and its surroundings on Saturday at 04.30 Western Indonesia Time and is valid until Sunday, February 21, 2021, at 07.00 Western Indonesia Time.

1. The Kota Tua tourism area is predicted to have heavy rain. The temperature is estimated at 23-32 degrees Celsius.

2. The National Monument (Monas) area is predicted to rain with moderate intensity. Temperature 23-30 degrees Celsius.

3. Kepulauan Seribu area is predicted to rain with light intensity. Temperature 25-30 degrees Celsius.

4. The Taman Impian Jaya Ancol area is predicted to rain with light intensity. Temperature 25-30 degrees Celsius.

5. The Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) area is predicted to have heavy rain accompanied by lightning. Temperature 23-31 degrees Celsius.

6. The Ragunan Zoo area is predicted to rain with light intensity. Temperature 23-30 degrees Celsius.

7. The Gelora Bung Karno area is predicted to have heavy rains. Temperature 23-31 degrees Celsius.

BMKG also predicts that Jakarta will experience rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds this Saturday.

"Be alert to the potential rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in the areas of West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta in the morning and at night," said BMKG's early warning, as reported by Antara.
