Putin Affirms Russia Will Never Resign And No One Can Break Russian Beh

JAKARTA - The growing tension of conflict between Russia and Ukraine ahead of the turn of 2023 raises concerns that the escalation of the conflict could spread further in 2024.

Recently, in a New Year's address to his people on Sunday local time, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that Russia would never change its stance on the situation.

"We have proven more than once that we are able to overcome the most difficult challenges. We will never back down," Putin said in a televised address in Russia's easternmost region, such as Kamchatka and Chukotka, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, January 1.

Putin expressed his pride for the ability of the Russian people to work hard and achieve many things together. He added that his country is steadfast in defending its national, freedom and security interests, as well as values that have long been a solid foothold for Russia.

In his speech, Putin also expressed his appreciation to the Russian armed forces personnel involved in "the struggle for truth and justice."

"You are our heroes, our hearts are with you. We are proud and admire your courage," said Putin.

He knows that military personnel are currently gaining support and affection from families and millions of Russian people, whom he considers "one country, one extended family."

Putin expressed his belief that the people will continue to support the development of a nation that is confident and the welfare of its citizens, so that the country will be stronger in the future.

"We are united, and this is the most reliable guarantee for Russia's future," said Putin.
