Cianjur Police Arrest Mobile Credit Driver Who Distributes Methamphetamine Types Of Drugs

The Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Cianjur Police, West Java, arrested a mobile creditman and a drug dealer on behalf of Feri Muhammad Ihrom (36) when he was about to distribute methamphetamine, from the hands of the perpetrators, 2 ounces of crystal methamphetamine was secured, Saturday, December 30.

Head of Cianjur Police Narcotics Unit AKP Septian Pratama in Cianjur, Sunday said that the arrest of the illicit goods dealer began with reports from residents who were suspicious of the perpetrator's movements while in the neighborhood where he lived.

"During a search of the perpetrator's house, officers found 2 ounces of crystal methamphetamine from inside the wardrobe. The perpetrator admitted that the illicit goods were obtained from a large dealer outside Cianjur city," he said, as quoted by Antara.

Septian explained that the methamphetamine will be circulated on New Year's Eve in the Cianjur city area, so that his party will hunt down a large dealer from Tanggerang-Banten who has been supplying crystal methamphetamine to the perpetrators for the past 6 months.

"We are still developing the case to arrest the big city. Meanwhile, the perpetrator who is a drug case recidivist will be charged with Article 132 in conjunction with Article 112 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics with a maximum imprisonment of 20 years," he said.

He added, on New Year's Eve, it is prone to drug trafficking, especially in the northern to southern region along with the number of visits, so that his party increases supervision by involving the police and residents to report suspicious activities.

"We will continue to carry out various prevention efforts in suppressing drug trafficking in Cianjur, including increasing investigations, especially during New Year's Eve celebrations," he said.

Even patrols create conditions carried out at a number of points where treatment is suspected to be used as places for drug transactions on New Year's Eve, especially in northern Cianjur areas such as Pacet and Cipanas and the southern region where many tourists from various regions visit.

"We also coordinate with the Sector Police to carry out surveillance and investigations and make efforts to handle quickly when receiving reports from residents regarding suspicious activities, especially on New Year's Eve," he said.
