Accompany Ganjar To Visit Volunteers Victims Of TNI Persecution, Atikoh Cries

BOYOLALI - Siti Atikoh Supriyanti could not hold back tears while accompanying her husband, the 2024 Indonesian Presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo visited the volunteers who were victims of the beating of TNI personnel in Boyolali, Central Java, Sunday, December 31.

The moment was recorded when Ganjar and Atikoh arrived after carrying out campaign activities in Purworejo. Atikoh and Ganjar arrived at Pandan Arang Hospital, Boyolali, at around 21.04 WIB.

Accompanied by members of the Indonesian House of Representatives who are also PDI-P cadres, Agustina Wilujeng, immediately entered the treatment room. Ganjar and Atikoh immediately expressed their concern about the origin of the disaster.

There were two victims who were treated at the hospital. Ganjar met the first victim named Slamet Andono. The two talked with the victim and his family.

Next Atikoh and Ganjar looked at the second victim named Arif Diva Ramandhani. At this moment Atikoh couldn't hold back his tears.

"I didn't come, Dad, I can't bear to see it," said Atikoh, not accompanying Ganjar to meet the victim Arif.

The mother of Muhammad Zinedine Alam Ganjar was seen wiping her eyes repeatedly. He also kept facing the wall while wiping tears with tissue.

"I came here as a form of accountability because he is my supporter," said Ganjar after visiting.

The former governor of Central Java for two terms regretted the actions of TNI officers who were vigilant themselves.

In addition, he asked his supporters to be orderly by following all existing rules.

"We will also remind our supporters so that they are also orderly not to provoke anger because previously there was also an incident in Jogja, some died. So these stories must be used as examples so that they cannot be repeated," said Ganjar.

It is known that the incident against Ganjar-Mahfud volunteers went viral on social media Saturday (30/12/2023). In the video circulating, it was narrated that the volunteers had just finished participating in the event in Boyolali. They were then intercepted by TNI personnel allegedly from Battalion 408.

In the video, a number of people can be seen initially on the side of the road. Shortly after, the perpetrators immediately approached the motorcyclist who was passing by and carried out the beating.
