The joint Search and Rescue (SAR) team from various entities is looking for a resident of Samarinda who went missing on the land of Sungai Meriam Village, Anggana District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan (Kaltim).

The joint team included Rescue Unit Siaga SAR Samarinda, Anggana Police, Anggana Koramil, Anggana Fire Command Post, Sungai Meriam Village Secretary, Care Scout Ranting Anggana, ORCA, Portugal Rescue, PMK Harapan Baru, residents of Sungai Meriam, families of victims, and land owners.

"Today is the fifth day the team is searching for Rusdi, 58 years old, the address is Jalan Jelawat, Sidopeace Village, Samarinda City, which was reported missing in Anggana," said Head of Basarnas Balikpapan City Melkyanus Kotta, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday 31 December.

Rusdi went missing on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at 08.00 WITA. Meanwhile, the report entered the Samarinda SAR Team on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 15.50 WITA, with the reporter Hamdi Ismail.

The location of the incident was in Sungai Meriam Village, Anggana, Kutai Kartanegara (Kukar) with a distance of about 24.2 km from the Samarinda SAR Alert Unit, heading to the Southeast East.

Meanwhile, according to the chronology, on Sunday at around 08.00 WITA, Rusdi borrowed a motorbike from Juhri, his friend in Samarinda, to start the land in Gang Sungai Purun, RT 23, Sungai Meriam Village, but until Monday morning, December 25, 2023, Rusdi had not returned the motorbike.

Then Juhri checked the land that was initiated in the Purun River Alley that Rusdi meant, it turned out that the motorbike was still at the location, but Rusdi was not there and when he checked his house was not there.

"As soon as they received the report last Wednesday, the team immediately conducted a search to the scene of the incident every day until now. On the fifth day, the search was resumed by divided into two teams." said Melky.

The Joint SAR 1 team conducted a search using a tracking method, namely following the highway as far as 10 km, then the Joint SAR 2 Team conducted a search to the north and south as far as 10 KM from the starting point of the motorcycle was found.

"The equipment brought by the team in conducting the search since this morning is Dmax rescue car, personnel trucks, trail motorcycles, forest rescue equipment, medical equipment, and communication equipment," he said.
