Huawei And BAIC BJEV Collaboration Will Present An Electric Sedan, Launched In 2024?

JAKARTA - The interest of electric vehicles in the world, including China, continues to increase, no wonder various well-known manufacturers or joint ventures from two major brands are competing to present the best electric cars.

One of them is the well-known technology company Huawei which took part in the automotive segment. However, the company does not assemble cars, it's just that it distributes technology and plans to market it in the future.

Quoted from the Carnewschina page, Saturday, December 30, it turns out that Huawei is preparing a pure electric sedan from collaboration with BAIC BJEV (a new energy vehicle branch from BAIC).

This refers to one of the unnamed BJEV BAIC people, where he revealed that the first new sedan was medium to large, but it was not explained in more detail about the leak, it's just that the prototype has been made and will be launched in the first half of 2024.

The news is also in line with what was revealed by Huawei's Managing Director, Yu Chengdong, he said that a total of four car companies are collaborating with Huawei, namely Seres, Chery, BAIC BJEV, and JAC.

As is well known, the collaboration with some of the above brands gave birth to a model that is quite respected in the Chinese electric vehicle market, one of which is the Luxeed S7 which is a new terror for the Tesla Model S.

In a recent announcement made by China's National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), Huawei has shifted several trademarks named 'STELATO' to BAIC BJEV. International classification involves construction improvements, website services, scientific instruments, and much more. The name STELATO will most likely be used as a brand of Huawei and BAIC collaborations, similar to AITO and Luxeed.

With the presence of the new electric sedan, it is certainly an attractive option, especially since Huawei technology cannot be doubted.
