During The Election, Ketum Hanura Calls The Position Of The Woman's Voice Extraordinary

JAKARTA - The voice of women is considered very important in winning in various contests in the 2024 political year.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Hanura Party, Oesman Sapta Odang (OSO). "Women are extraordinary now, remember mothers, we now have the same percentage of women 50 percent of men, don't simplify it," said Oesman Sapta quoting Antara.

OSO also said that winning as many women's votes as possible was one of the Hanura Party's strategies to win victory in Pasundan Earth.

"West Java is one of the provinces with very large mothers and women, that's why we have to encourage them to become fighters, fighters who fight for the interests of their children and grandchildren," he said.

On that occasion, Oesman Sapta also invited Hanura cadres in West Java to get as many female voices as possible.

"Brothers, I love women, because women are mothers, women are now the same as men. In the past, women were only 20 percent, now women are 50 percent. So be careful with women, and never betray women, love women, because women are our mothers. Tell all women in West Java, that women are our mothers, if she hears, feels, then she will choose Hanura," he said.

On that occasion, OSO also invited all Hanura cadres in West Java to win the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

This is because the development inclusiveness program carried by the Ganjar-Mahfud pair is in line with the vision and mission of the Hanura Party.

Previously, presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo said vulnerable groups must be involved in making decisions to improve the quality of public services and create fair public services.

In the first presidential candidate for the 2024 election at the Indonesian KPU Office, Jakarta, Tuesday, Ganjar shared his experience when he led the province of Central Java for 10 years.

He said he always involved groups of vulnerable women, people with disabilities, the elderly, children, parents, and other vulnerable groups in the deliberation of development plans (musrenbang).

"Why? So that decision makers are aware. They (leaders) care how they (weak people) feel," said Ganjar.

Separately, the General Elections Commission (KPU) has determined the 204,807,222 voters for the Permanent Voter List (DPT) for the 2024 General Election.

Reporting from the kpu.go.id website, KPU member Betty Epsilon Idroos said the number of domestic voters for 514 districts/cities, 7,277 sub-districts, 83,731 villages/kelurahan, 820,161 polling stations, consisted of male voters 101,467,243, female voters 101,589,505 with the number of domestic voters in the 2024 elections throughout Indonesia as many as 203,056,748.

Followed by reading out the number of voters for foreign voters in 128 representative countries, with 3,059 PPLN, KSK and Pos, 751,260 male voters, 999,214 women, a total of 1,750,474 male and female voters abroad.

"The total national recap of domestic and foreign voters with 514 regencies/cities, 128 representative countries, 7,277 sub-districts, 83,731 villages/kelurahan, the number of TPS/TPSLN, KSK, Pos 823,220, the number of male voters 102,218,503 and female voters 102,588,719 women. With a total voter of men and women 204,807,222," said Betty.
