Prabowo Volunteers For Shooting Victims In Sampang Undergo Recovery

JAKARTA - Prabowo-Gibran volunteers named Murah (48) who were victims of shootings by unknown people have begun to recover after the shooting that occurred in the Banyuates area, Sampang, East Java.

The Digestive Surgeon of Dr Soetomo Hospital, Tomy Lesmana, said the patient's condition had recovered after surgery and had been moved from the ICU room to the regular treatment room.

"Currently, the patient's condition is physically stable. Stable in the sense of blood pressure, pulse, breathing, everything is stable," said Tomy, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, December 29.

Currently, he continued, the team of doctors is still undergoing treatment and observation regarding possible symptoms of the remnant.

"After all, there are still disturbances in the distribution, causing the patient to not be able to move his legs," he said.

Therefore, he said, although it has not fully recovered, physiotherapy has been carried out to restore muscles so as not to shrink.

Tomy could not confirm how long the healing process took. At least the process of recovering the nerves takes three months. He also could not confirm whether he could recover or experience permanent paralysis.

"(Healtened) we hope together. At the beginning it was difficult to see and there was no decisive parameter that it would recover completely, recover partially or permanently," said Tomy.

He said healing relies heavily on the patient's physical condition and the network's ability to heal oneself.

As previously reported, a community leader in Banyuates District, Sampang Regency, named Murah (48), became a victim of an unknown person shooting.

Murah was shot while having coffee with his friends in front of the shop on Friday, December 22, 2023 at around 09.30 WIB.

The direction was shot twice until it fell. After carrying out the action, the perpetrators with a thick black shirt equipped with a face covering immediately fled on a motorbike.

Now the presidential and vice presidential candidate Prabowo-Gibran is still undergoing intensive treatment at Dr Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya.
